Luxury Wedding Weekend- Che and Brandon Got Married was a serious celebration! The weekend started with an incredible Welcome Party that was wonderfully festive and had every detail that a Mexican welcome party should have! Yummy signature drinks were served along with a delicious buffet of local Mexican fair served poolside. A super fun step and repeat was designed by Emily Clark’s team that served as a festive entrance and a great photography opportunity as the guests arrived. This was a perfect start to their luxury wedding weekend!

Day two was outstanding as Che and Brandon had their White Party Rehearsal Dinner and Tequila tasting. The culinary experience alone was beyond incredible, visually and even more incredible on the taste buds. Everyone arrived fully dressed in white and celebrated the night away under twinkling lights in the Chef’s Garden. The garden boxes were huge and filled with succulent herbs and spices which are used in the dishes for true authentic fresh farm to table cuisine. Every detail of this night was perfect including the Mariachi Band which played through the evening and added to the festivities.

Day Three – Began with a destination beach photo shoot with Che, Brandon and their sweet adorable daughter Slyer. The pictures below show the fun and romantic vibes that guided this photography session.

Well, what can I say, how do you top off a brilliant destination wedding weekend in Maya Riviera? Take a look at the uber creative setting that the guests and bride and groom enjoyed their reception meal at. Take a look at the very cool beach party after the bride and groom cut the cake. DIFFA of Dallas is the Dallas Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS and this was their 26th Annual Event. They did not disappoint this year for this very chic Circus and Oddities themed Galla. The show was nothing short of spectacular and magical in every single way. The fashion was out of this world and the Circus actors and acrobats were so incredible. They had it all from the dark and scary to beautiful and bright characters. This followed their Ebby Holiday live auction which was MC’d by the one and only Richard Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas and from Gas Monkey Grill. The runway show started off with an amazing collection of fashion by Tenoversix, Forty Five Ten and Traffic LA. We also were excited to see several of our Real Housewives of Dallas woman present as well such as LeeAnn Locken with her husband, Cary Deuber and Tiffany Hendra who all looked stunning! One Mission Buzz Off is a truly inspirational organization that I have volunteered for now for years. Photographing fabulous children’s gala in Boston at the Four Seasons to raise funds for these kids to the Buzz Off’s in Boston where this organization was born. Now, as I live in Dallas Texas – I have the pleasure of continuing my support with OneMission.org as this great Buzz Off is now going national. This year the 2016 Buzz Off was held at the Globe Life Ballpark in Arlington Texas. The outcome was wonderful and we had such beautiful support from so many individuals and families.

The very gracious Iván Rodríguez Torres nicknamed Pudge or I-Rod is a retired Major League Baseball catcher. In his career, he played for theTexas Rangers (on two different tours, comprising the majority of his career), Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Houston Astros and Washington Nationals.) joined us in support of the children and gave some of the children and families signed memorabilia. He was so sweet with the kids and had a great way of making them smile. That is so important for the kids and their families to be supported by so many wonderful people.

Donnie Lamont Sadler (born June 17, 1975 in Clifton, Texas, United States) is a former right-handed Major League Baseball utility player. An alumnus of Valley Mills High School in Valley Mills, Texas (where he was an all-state shortstop), Sadler is small in stature, standing at only 5’6″ tall and weighing 175 pounds. His cousin, Ray Sadler, is an outfielder in the Tampa Bay Rays organization.) joined us and then so did Alumni Michael Anthony Munoz (born July 12, 1965 in Baldwin Park, California), is a retired professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues from 1989 to 2000. These guys were a blast, shaving the kids heads, getting their hair shaved and signing the shavers shirts and taking photographs with everyone. I Love to see the dedication of the volunteers every year and the turnout of support that follows. Here are some pictures to enjoy of the Buzz Off. Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Blue

Kara and Dave got Married at the beautiful Room on Main Event Venue Dallas Texas in downtown Dallas. What touched me so very much about this bride and grooms beautiful wedding was the care and kindness that exuded towards their parents and grandparents. The most important sentiments for their wedding were as follows:

Something Old – Mother’s wedding veil
Something New – Gown
Something Borrowed – Maternal Grandmother’s diamond necklace
Something Blue – Late Paternal Grandmother’s sapphire ring guards.

The sweetest part of a wedding is to see the joy that is brought together by close families. Kara and Dave are both individuals that are full of life and excitement that shined through during their engagement session. So, of course their wedding was the same. Kara’s mother started the ceremony off with a gorgeous song that was really very moving. This started the ceremony off with tears and warmth. The ceremony was beautiful and the Officiant Chris Sideman, came in and married these two.

There were some other details that I must mention are the two “SUPER ADORABLE” Bridal party flower girl and ring bearer. I mean, take a look at these photos of these two little sweethearts. A picture perfect couple of children and the gorgeous bride with her sweet Grandmothers diamond necklace being placed on her (see images of this below) and the sweetest Mother and Groom Dance at the end that really touched my heart. But also take a look at Dave with his pop and hugging him and lastly [huge_it_share]including him in the very cool photo of the grooms party showing off there shoes and socks!

The decor was very elegantly planned to the smallest details by Alex Stein and her wonderful team and below are all of the other Vendor Professionals that worked with us.

The Windsor at Hebron Park, Carrolton Texas Unveiling Photographer and Trifecta Event Management had a wonderful turnout and all of my favorite Wedding Pros & Brides-to-Be were there with Bells on! There was an outstanding team of vendors who were showing off what they do best! The red carpet was rolled out for an elegant evening celebrating the unveiling of the Windsor at Hebron Park.

This space is gorgeous and has many amazing spots for fabulous Wedding Photography, Bridal photography, event photography and all of events that requir a beautiful location in Texas. The food was worthy of a standing ovation and clearly was a winner at this event.

Musical performance by The Brett Laquercia Group kept the party festive and everyone enjoying the ambience while mingling and tasting the wonderful edible bites. The florals, design and decor were designed beautiful and the Blue Diamond Limo’s retro vehicle parked out front rounded off the elegant feel from inside to outside.

Allison + Anthony Marry at Old City Park Dallas Heritage Village – What was so unexpected of this Fall wedding day was the incredible vintage feel of the architecture and grounds of the Old City Park in Dallas Texas. I adore anything vintage and retro for photography. The combination is creative and artistic looking without having to add any effects. The old wallpaper with the tiny flowers on them reminds me of growing up and sleeping over my grandmothers house. The old buildings on the grounds are very cool and a very fun find in the middle of Dallas. The streets are still in tact as they had been years and years ago.

It was raining very badly this weekend and when I arrived to the old bridal house I found there were quite a bit of umbrellas sitting on their head waiting to be used once again for the storms that were due to pour on us all day. Well, lucky timing has been on my side since I started photographing weddings years ago. It always seems that just at the very right moment, the storms stop and the groom and bride are able to fulfill their dream of getting married outside near this great fountain.

First we had the first look and in doing so this gave Anthony the last minute thought to test it and bring the chairs out or their ceremony. We did just that and luckily the rain held off just until they said “I DO”. Really, just the last minute. Wow, we were lucky to have been able to do this for the ceremony!

I was excited and elated to get some fabulous out door images before the rain came. Here are some of the wedding day pictures for viewing as a sneak peak.

Cecilia + Jeremy Dallas Engagement Photography

These two people are so incredibly adorable together and so wonderful to photograph. I met Cecilia and Jeremy while planning their wedding day through the amazing Hotel Za Za in Dallas Texas. They both met while in Dental school and are now two very successful Dentists in Plano (which by the way you may want to see them for some good ol’ dental work). Talented and beautiful, they came together and have been together for three years. Three years later, here we are photographing their engagement session in Dallas at White Rock Lake. Well I actually started the shoot with Cecilia at the Filter Building in Dallas and then finished her Bridals at White Rock Lake – (which I of course can NOT show you as of yet since their wedding is a week away) lol… continue reading below

In the meantime, Jeremy met us at the park and we had a wonderful time getting to know each other. On a side note, engagement photo sessions are truly a great tool in order to prepare for the big day. Most young couples are nervous about the process of having a person such as myself following them around for an entire day with a camera. This process truly guides my client’s through a sort-of mock wedding for an hour or so. They get to feel what my style of shooting feels like while I easily pose them into the positions that I want for my photos without them really realizing what I am actually accomplishing. The vibe is super easy going and thoroughly encompassing just what we need to get the job done! So, that is just what we did…

A little fun info – Cecilia and Jeremy have the fabulous Kimberly Rhodes of Hitched Events from Dallas for Day of Planning for their wedding day. The venue is as mentioned Earlier – Hotel ZaZa in Dallas which is a very cool chic fabulous venue. The artistic high end luxury feel is perfect for Cecilia and Jeremy’s very chic style. The Laurel in Grapevine is a fabulous new event and wedding venue that has just had their grand opening. Relive Photography was brought in to photograph for their very first SWP Society of Wedding Professionals November 2015. This was a great Thanksgiving style lunch that was provided by Wendy Krispin Catering from the DFW and Dallas area. The catering was fabulous and the lunch was finished off by homemade candied apples to top off the fall feel. The apples were a wonderful touch and were provided by Catering by Chef Richard. Florals and decor of course are a huge aspect of any event having a great outcome which was provided by Jenny Johnson of The I Do Girl Weddings and Events and Joche W. Floral & Event Design. Of course I have not forgotten Carol Mark Events terrific Violinist Marek – who’s image is of course included. Check out our list below to see ALL of the amazing talented artists and wedding and event professionals that took part in another successful event.
